Viennese street signs, Syrian broomsticks
„Anfang-Ende“ are the german expressions for „Beginning-End“. In the middle of nowhere in the Syrian desert the Viennese street signs mark the beginning and the end of something – something which must obiously be non-evident to the rare passers-by. Quoted out of any context they seemingly tag a random spot, however simultaniously an enigmatic place of higher order is created, which calls the significance of any other point on the globe into question – maybe the one you are at now. For this moment the hub of the universe is right there – be aware of it.
